Cleveland & Helen, Georgia

We took the girls gem mining and panning for gold! Emma loved playing in the creek and playing with the owner's 17 dogs. Sara was hooked on panning for gold and was very patient.
We took the girls putt-putting. Nannie Betty beat everyone. You go Nannie! Afterwards, the girls went go-carting and Emma loved ramming her sister. Sara was robbed on her go-cart.

Then came the bumper boats. Chris drove with Emma only because of age restrictions. They were soaked!
I believe their favorite part of the trip was Babyland. It is a great place to take little girls, once. They really did enjoy it. They embraced being new mothers quite well.
We managed to take our RV to a place without television! It was really nice, for me. I don't think Chris liked it so well. It was nice to be without that distraction!

Bringing Samuel Home Today

Our friends, The Vogels, went to China and are bringing home their new son, Sam, tonight! Look at him, isn't he so cute! Hanging on to his mama! We are so happy God united them as a family. I wish I could be there tonight when their flight comes in...what a moment to witness all the siblings together!
I also want to thank anyone who played a role in their adoption, whether financially or otherwise. THANK YOU!!

June 2007

Sorry it's been along time since my last blog, we've been very busy, I've been sick for a month, (or so it seems) and then I forgot my password. I finally figured it out, so here is the scoop for June ...

We celebrated my nephew, Luke's, 7th birthday. He was so excited over his Spiderman cake!

We went on our annual trip to Orlando to see Grampy and Nannie Jeanne. On the way, we stopped and stayed at Jekyll Island in Georgia. It is so beautiful! Of course, we went to the beach and the girls loved riding the horse carriage. We were going to go horseback riding on the beach but Emma is not quite old enough to ride her own, and she knows EXACTLY what she wants!
Emma lost her two front teeth in Florida! Sara
even lost one of her back teeth, in the same
week! I never knew the Tooth Fairy would
come if you weren't in your own house!

The girls were able to ride Brio one day. Nannie did ALOT of work for her grandbabies!
Sara & Emma got to drive the boat when we went to the river! We all went to Dixie Stampede & putt-putting. Grampy & daddy took the girls go-cart riding, in the rain, no less! We had a wonderful time building memories with the girls & their grandparents.
