September 2007

How is this for some crazy hair for Crazy Hair Day at school? It took me about three hours to add all of those sipping straws! I wish I had taken a picture when I picked them up from school. They had taken the straws out and looked like Shirley Temple.

We celebrated Sara's 10th birthday. The layers of the cake slid on us but it was still yummy! She asked her cousin, Landon, to celebrate their birthdays together this year. We all had a great celebration together.

Landon turned eight!

This is my handsome brother, Everett.

Sara's favorite gift was her guitar.
She looks serious!
Watch out music industry!

August 2007 Part 2

We missed our connecting flight from Honduras, we rented a car, drove home and arrived at 2 am. We were not happy travelers at this point! We sit on the runway for 25 minutes, had to go through customs, which had at least 300-400 people in line, had to claim our luggage before we could go for our connecting flight. We ran to our departure gate to find, it had been changed to the opposite end of the Atlanta airport. If you have been at the Atlanta airport, you know how terrible that is! Anyway, no one wanted to accept blame, no apologies, just more money! Delta did offer to put us in a hotel for the next day but we had to be at the girl's school for registration. So we rented, made it home, safely. Thank you Jesus!

We got back just in time for the girl's first day of school. I can't believe my preemies are in the 4th and 2nd grade! They are growing too fast for this mama!

Of course, we also had to have another birthday party for Emma with Daddy! We had family over and had a blast.

We went camping in Hendersonville. They had a lake, you could go fishing and paddleboating. Sara caught some fish! We attended the Apple Festival.

Look at my babies! They are just so beautiful and we are so, so blessed to be their mama and daddy. They are awesome girls!
